I had to switch dental providers due to insurance. Klein dental was in network, but I was hesitant about switching as I had gone to my previous dentist for several decades. However, I had a wonderful experience from the front desk, to the cleaning with the hygienist and the dentist also. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Happy to have this office in Dillsburg!

First off I'll start by saying everyone I met from when I walked in till I walked out was extremely polite and courteous. However, choosing Klein Dental for my dental care has been my worst mistake. My first visit on 11/21, I had a cleaning an x-rays done. Told them I bleed a lot while brushing. Was told I needed a filling other than that everything looks good. Fast forward to 2/23. Routine cleaning and x-rays done. Said still a lot of bleeding while brushing. Also, I did inform them of my gastroparesis diagnosis causing me to throw up about 5 times a day. Was told all looks good, see you in 6 months. Well come May I had TERRIBLE mouth pain. Made emergency appointment. Nice lady introduced herself said she was there helping out. Took one look in my mouth and said I need to see a periodontist. Periodontist evaluation concludes Stage 3 Grade B periodontitis! (Goes from Stage 1 to Stage 4, Grade A to Grade C) So it's quite advanced. Jawbone is eroding! Could loose my teeth! Pointed to x-ray from 2021 said here it's gingivitis which is curable.This x-ray after left untreated for 2 years is not. Caused by the Gastroparesis/throwing up all the time. I said how could Klein Dental miss this? Periodontist responded I don't know... thats a question for Klein Dental. Klein Dental response: x-rays are just one doctors interpretation and we feel (and stated in their report) not caused by gastroparesis. This must have delevoped between February to May. Periodontist says: yeah it doesn't work like that! And bleeding while brushing is number 1 symptom of gingivitis. So far I underwent 4 scaling and root planing sessions, cost 1K. Now just told need surgery for most aggressive form of treatment. Cost over 3K. My hats off to the amazing Periodontist doing EVERYTHING to help me and save my teeth. Just spoke to my lawyer who says it's a clear missed diagnosis. So in conclusion if you wanna go somewhere and recieve nice warming smiles, call Klein Dental. If you yourself want and care for your nice smile, go elsewhere!!!

I have extreme dental anxiety thanks to growing up in the 70s and 80s when dentists weren't always aware of their patient's feelings towards each procedure. All I can say is that the entire team at Klein Dental made me feel comfortable about coming in for a check up and cleaning after years of avoidance. Brittany, in particular, was extremely kind and patient with me. She took her time and explained every single thing that she was doing before she did it...and if I needed to gather myself, she gave me time. She was AMAZING. I truly cannot recommend this dental practice enough.

Definitely do not recommend this office. First anytime you call them they say they will call you back and they never do. Second, they clearly only care about money. I went in for a routine teeth cleaning, and the dentist was not even present that day. Not a big deal because the hygienists do the cleanings anyways. Then I received a bill stating they were out of network. I gave them my updated insurance card at the beginning of my appointment and they never once said they were out of network. Then I come to find out that there are two dentists at there Lewisberry location and one is in Network and the other is not. So they intentionally had me "see" the out of Network dentist so that they could charge more and it wouldn't be covered by my insurance. They don't allow you to choose which dentist you see and again I didn't even see a Dentist that day because they were out of the office but I have to pay to see an out of network Dentist that wasn't even in the office that day. Ridiculous.

I was so much happier here then where I had been going. I have to go where my insurance says I can go, which can be some pretty unhappy places. I hope I can stay here now. I was treated with a lot of respect. I had to wait a long time to get in here but when I did get in, they spent a lot of time on me.

I've lived here in Pennsylvania since 2005. This is my third dentist I've gone to because the first two were so traumatizing and it actually been a good solid 10 years since I've been to the dentist and then I had no choice. My kids and my husband have been going to Klein Dental for many years I've just been avoiding it because of my trauma. The kindness, compassion and understanding that I've received over my fears has been amazing. I know they've been good to my family all these years but I was just too scared myself but they did a wonderful job with how they treated me and I appreciate them so very much.

Office staff is very kind and respectful. The dental tech was very friendly and professional and was very careful with my cleaning as well as thorough. I also have Invisaline through the orthodontist, Dr Moses and his lead tech Say. I highly recommend Klein for all dental and ortho needs.

The desk staff is very friendly and welcoming. The professional staff is equally warm and welcoming. Everything is calmly explained with plenty of time to discuss or ask questions. I have had dental procedures done elsewhere that I wasn’t given time or felt comfortable questioning. I’ve never felt that way at Klein, a very professional yet comfortable experience.

I really wanted to like this place because Dr. Moses is incredibly kind and full of compassion but the billing side of things makes every appointment an anxiety inducing headache. The lack of communication is the biggest issue. I have had to say the same thing over and over again when they call. I'm guessing they don't write down notes to record in my file because everytime they call, I have to have the same conversation about how I am not insured and what I am supposed to pay and what is owed. Then I remind them that I had already confirmed this with the manager at my last several appointments. If I have to have the same conversation for the 4th time at my next appointment, I'm dropping this review to a one star. It's really not good when I keep getting anxiety every time you call me and say I owe this or that when we've already had this conversation 3 times before... I currently pay what I signed and agreed to pay for my braces every 2 weeks. Also please update my file I've told you 3 times I don't have insurance! This is why I am paying out of pocket and have a payment plan!! Don't call me to say I have a $130 copay!Edit: Well dropping it to a 1 star. I was in the office literally the next day after posting this review and was told I had a $130 copay which I don't. Thank you Dr. Moses for making my day, but once these braces come off I'm never going back.

I would not recommend this dental establishment if you are in need of a partial replacement. I had to go back several times and they still were unable to achieve satisfactory results. The teeth they replaced have gaps and one tooth is shorter than the other. They won’t fix it and there are no refunds. I paid out of pocket and it’s a total loss. I should’ve went to Aspen Dental where satisfaction is guaranteed or your money back. I’m very disappointed and heartbroken.

I had to try a couple of dentists in the area to find the right fit for me and my family. We were very happy with Klein today. The office was very neat in appearance and the staff was professional and helpful. The hygienists were very kind and patient with my 3 kids and took the time to explain everything they were doing. I think we finally found our dental home.

My son was terrified of dentists. He is now 9.5 and we have been coming to Klein for almost a year and they are absolutely fantastic! They never make you feel like you are a problem my son now even is comfortable enough to see them alone! If we were still going to the prior dentist I would have to hold him down Bc he was terrified and the people made him feel worse.Not at Klein! Everyone there is amazing! I love the front desk people and the hygienist people! Dr. Barry is amazing and so are the other two!I also am terrified of dentists Bc of anxiety and two weeks ago I sat in their chair for over an hour having dental work and the process was great! Honestly they make you feel at ease and are such caring compassionate people!I’ll never go anywhere else!We love Klein

I didn't care for this office at all. In the exam part of the office seemed to be totally out of control. I gave 1 star only because you can't give none!!I made a new patient appointment with Klein Dental in Dillsburg. My dental insurance covers me for a first visit, x-rays, etc. at no charge. Somebody (the woman never told me who she was) took an x-ray & walked away. A dentist? came in (he never told me who he was either) & told me that I needed a tooth pulled & he walked away. I found this office very unprofessional!!I received a bill for $14.00, why I don't know, my visit was suppose to be covered by my insurance & if I don't pay this bill I'm guessing they will put me in collections & destroy my credit.FIND A DIFFERENT DENTIST.

This was my first time going to klein's . The whole staff was friendly. The dentist I seen was very friendly explained everything if I still had questions after he left his assistant answered them for me very clean improperly taking care of. They made sure before I left I had no questions. I recommend them to everyone. I will continue going there. Great job Klein.Update: been going to Klein Dental for over a year now. They are still the friendliest staff and dentist there's establishment is very clean I would recommend them to anyone and everyone my husband is not much for doctors or dentist I even got him to go thank you for the excellent service

I was a patient prior to 2020, but when Covid hit, I realized I was actually just a customer. I broke a tooth and they couldn't even be bothered to return my phone calls. That told me how little they cared about my welfare as a patient.And when the practice eventually reopened, they began charging an additional $20 per patient, per visit for "personal protection equipment," whatever that is. I did the math, and they were taking in about $1,500 per day just through this rather dubious surcharge alone. And that begs the question - if it really cost them that much to keep from spreading disease post-2020, what the heck were their sanitation practices before 2020?

The hygenists and dentists are good, but their office staff and policy is horrible. They charge you $15 if you need to leave their practice and switch to another dentist just to email your records to the new facility. Such a scam.

I recently moved to this area and this dental office was recommended. Am grateful for referral. They took much time for first visit, carefully examining health of teeth and gums. I felt to be in highly competent hands. In addition to competency, all were highly considerate. It's rare to find places like this today. I'd recommend them to all.

Overnight I had a crown drop out on a Thursday before Memorial Day weekend. Needless to say, I was worried I might find myself in pain, but thanks to Klein Dental Associates, they responded to a message I left on their voicemail overnight and by 10am the next day, I was back in business! I have had two appointments so far and had some painful work done but they were all so kind and didnt make me feel bad about anything. I think my appointment was with a James today. I hope I got his name right. He was so very kind and I'm very happy to have my next appointment with him. I have severe anxiety and they seem to be very good with that. I truly recommend them especially if you have anxiety and are nervous about any dental work needed.

I had been going to a dentist in Hanover years ago, and the dentist judged me and criticized me, as well as talking bad about their employees right in front of me. That put a sour taste in my mouth so I ended up not seeing a dentist for a few years, in fear of judgement etc.On a whim I went to Klein, scared of what to expect. I must say I actually enjoyed my trip to the dentist, Dr. Barry and his staff never once judged me. I have been going there ever since. Never had a problem with them. Absolutely love Klein Dental!!!!

I have been coming to Klein for for years now. I was someone who was absolutely terrified of the dentist from the time I was a kid, into my mid 20’s. I have to say out of the fee dental practices I’ve been to, Klein is the absolute best. Dr. Barry and Dr. John have helped me on numerous occasions. Everyone is always super helpful and friendly and they truly listen to your concerns. I’ve also read on their website that they have payment options and packages for those who are non-insured. They truly truly care about their work and the patient. I sing their praises to anyone who will listen. I don’t know why I never left a review before, but it’s definitely warranted. Best in the business!!!!

I very much appreciate the kindness and professionalism of the dentist and his assistants. I have always had a fear of dental work and they go out of their way to make sure the procedures are painless and are very capable of helping me relax.Also, these people do not shame you if your dental self-care is not up to par. Everyone in this office is very welcoming and in sync with one another to get the job done. They do not rush you, but make sure you are finished in a timely manner. Peter does a great job and is very gentle, yet thorough with his cleanings.

Been with the practice for 20+ yrs and have always gotten good service. Recently had to cancel cleaning appts due to injury called to reschedule and my husband got in the day I called and I got in the next day. All the staff seems pleasant and seem to enjoy their jobs.

I was a Klein Dental customer for years. Recently they started requiring signature of a "Financial Policy" that says "We will not become involved in disputes between you and your insurance company regarding ... non-covered charges, secondary coverage, etc." Essentially this means that if they bill you one price and your insurance says they overbilled you, they make you responsible for the difference. This is the essence of surprise billing which congress just outlawed in 2020 for all healthcare providers except dental as part of the "No Surprises Act." I offered to sign the form if they would provide list prices for the routine services I was scheduled to receive (a routine cleaning). They refused. In no other industry would it be acceptable to insist your customer commit to paying and not provide a price. Even my car mechanic who I've payed thousands of dollars over the years doesn't require such a form. The "Financial Policy" itself is draconian, the refusal to provide prices in advance, disgraceful.Additionally, Klein Dental offered me a Fluoride Treatment years ago while I was in the chair getting a cleaning claiming at the time that it was covered by my insurance. I got a bill in the mail weeks later where it wasn't covered. I paid the bill, but never forgot that experience. And as long as Klein Dental refuses to provide list prices, but requires you to commit to paying whatever they bill in advance, I will avoid their establishment.

Klein Dental / Lewisberry has been my dental health office for 20 years. Starting with Dr Jeff (father) and now with Dr John.(Son).Its clean, efficient, and friendly, but most important is its quality of care. From the front office, dental hygienists, and technicians, its as good an experience as you can have. Thats important in dentistry! (wink wink).Dr John is skilled and always explains whats next when you’re in the chair. His Assistant Kim is kind and attentive, and its always a pleasureseeing her. Keep up the great work and thanks for 20 years of excellent care and service!

I went here for about 25 years with no issues until the previous owner retired and new owners came in. They got rid off all the existing staff and hired young, inexperienced people. We had bill issues because services weren't explained prior to providing them. Also, my parents also go here and the dentist botched a root canal on my father that had to be corrected by an oral surgeon. Save yourself and go elsewhere! I would give them zero stars if I could.

I recently joined the Klein Dental in Lewisberry. Dr. Klein and his group are friendly, attentive, and instructive during procedures. All good things. They are clear about what to expect aft the procedure. Great personalities that like to chuckle at Friends reruns in between procedure steps. Love it.

My daughter & I just moved close to the Lewisberry area, while looking for a dentist, I saw the good reviews & the location cant get any closer for us. So today was our first visit. The staff was amazing with my 8yr old daughter. She doesnt like people in her mouth & she felt very comfortable. I felt comfortable & informed by all of the staff for my daughters visit as well as mine. And I purchased the electric toothbrush packages for the both of us. Glad we found the Klein Dental family. Had a really great experience at this Dental office. All the staff, from the receptionist, to the dental hygienist, to the doctor, to the guy that checked me out was friendly and personable. I'm in the hospitality industry myself and sometimes feel like professionalism and friendliness are hard to come by. Never once, like other dental offices, did they ask me what I do or don't do to take care of my teeth. They explained everything they were doing and made sure I was comfortable. I really recommend Klein Dental.
